Ethics & Malpractice Statement

International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and EvolveTech

 

1. Publication Ethics

The journal is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all possible measures against publication malpractice. The journal follows ethical principles aligned with international best practices and guidelines inspired by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

 

2. Responsibilities of Authors

Authors submitting manuscripts to the journal must ensure that:

The work is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere

Proper acknowledgment of all sources and citations is provided

Data presented are accurate and have not been fabricated, falsified, or manipulated

All listed authors have made significant scholarly contributions

Any financial or personal conflicts of interest are clearly disclosed

Plagiarism in any form, including self-plagiarism and redundant publication, is unacceptable.

 

 

3. Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for:

Making fair, unbiased, and timely editorial decisions

Evaluating manuscripts solely on academic merit, originality, and relevance

Maintaining confidentiality of submitted manuscripts

Avoiding conflicts of interest and recusing themselves when necessary

Taking appropriate action in cases of suspected misconduct

 

4. Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers must:

Conduct reviews objectively and professionally

Maintain confidentiality of manuscript content

Declare conflicts of interest before accepting review assignments

Identify relevant published work not cited by authors

Report suspected ethical issues or plagiarism to the editors

 

5. Plagiarism and Originality

All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection tools.

Manuscripts with unacceptable similarity levels are rejected

Proper quotation and citation of previously published material are mandatory

Plagiarism, data duplication, or unethical reuse of content will result in rejection or retraction

 

6. Data Integrity and Reproducibility

Authors must ensure transparency and integrity in data reporting. Where applicable, authors are encouraged to provide datasets, codes, or supplementary materials to support reproducibility.

 

 

7. Conflict of Interest

All participants in the publication process—authors, reviewers, and editors—must disclose any conflicts that could influence the research or editorial decisions. Undisclosed conflicts may result in corrective action.

 

8. Human and Animal Ethics

Research involving human participants or animals must comply with applicable ethical standards and institutional guidelines. Authors must provide evidence of ethical approval where required.

 

9. Corrections, Retractions, and Expressions of Concern

The journal reserves the right to issue:

Corrections for honest errors

Retractions for proven misconduct

Expressions of concern where ethical issues are under investigation

 

All such actions are taken to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.

 

10. Handling of Misconduct

Suspected cases of publication misconduct—including plagiarism, falsification, unethical authorship practices, or manipulation of the peer-review process—are investigated thoroughly. Appropriate actions are taken in accordance with ethical guidelines.

 

11. Disclaimer

The views expressed in published articles are solely those of the authors. The journal and publisher are not responsible for errors, interpretations, or consequences arising from the use of published material.
